Looks like Annabelle found her way into a museum!
trying my best to use the gift of sewing that God has given me

I love the ones with the knot and the one with the swirl, they look so vintage. I'm not sure, they may not even be old but I do like them. I've asked Jason to be on the lookout for sewing stuff when he goes to these sales, bet he didn't know how excited I would be.
Okay, so I haven't been blogging much, I have been sewing, a lot, making this and that. Just went out to wander around the yard and snap some pics. I get stiff sitting too long and the breeze coming off the lake is refreshing. It has been really humid and my joints ache, that is no fun but the garden is.
The first one is Snow on the Mountain, my brother Barry gave it to me, it is prolific but pretty. This second picture is blurry sorry, gotta hold that camera still! The next planter my sister gave me last summer, very Adirondacky.

The lettuce isn't going to last much longer, it is getting too hot out.
Ah the yellow crookneck and the zucchini! Can't wait, especially if Katie is around to cook the zucchini, she made some this past weekend with fresh breadcrumbs, etc., so delish.
We also went to the 4th of July parade in Northville, a first for us and it was fun. Sacandaga Park, where Pat lived for the last year had their own float so we went along to see them. Their theme was Elvis lives and there were many Elvis' on board.
It was red velvet with real whipped cream and fresh strawberries and blueberries, delish. I had it for breakfast on Monday!
His Mom brought him up to visit on Sunday.
