Our granddaughter had her first birthday yesterday, how quickly the year flies by!! She had a wonderful party and was just as sweet as she always is and so happy. I think she just loved smiling at the crowd of people that were there. Annabelle has many relatives on both sides of the family so it was lots of fun for her. Her favorite thing was the balloons, in fact she fell asleep clutching one last night.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. Unfortunately my granddaughter Tessa became ill on Jeff and Meg's trip north so we missed out on seeing them which was a giant disappointment. But after also having a flat tire on their way north they turned around and went home and that is where they needed to be to get Tessa feeling better.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time with the others and Jason, Jr., Annabelle and Leanora were here a lot so that was great.
Jason posed for me in new Christmas jammies right in the middle of a Super Mario race. He wasn't really playing, just thought he was.
It was a restful weekend, lots of fires in the woodstove, one breakfast and lunch out, watching movies, too much eating, and playing scrabble. Well now it is over and onto Christmas, I love Thanksgiving so much, I hate to see it go!

It looks like it was a wonderful celebration. Sorry to hear that Tessa was under the weather for the festivities, but is now, hopefully, on the mend.
I can't believe it is December already. I will attempt to start Christmas decorating later this week when the painter is finished. Everything is chaos right now.
