A little stitching . . .

Yesterday I had such fun pulling out scraps and making some pillows. I've had these yo yos for years and never quite used them for their intended purpose. I do like them on this little pillow. There are a lot more where these came from.
These fabrics are pieces left over from pants for my granddaughters, two tote bags and a Kaffe Fassett print that after I bought it I wasn't sure if I liked it, it kind of glows. But now that I used a piece and mixed it in with other pillows I do like it.
Then I made some sugar cube pin cushions, the idea comes from the Moda Bakeshop. I didn't have the moda fabric so I used scraps but will probably get some in the future. They are quick and fun to make while watching tv. Speaking of Moda Bakeshop, it is full of adorable ideas, and they are posting new ones often using their charm packs, jelly rolls, honey buns, etc.Speaking of baking I need to do some right now so I'd better run.

Beautiful, as always, Sue! I like projects that can be done in front of the TV. :)

Sue I love your pillows, they are just so clever!! Do you quilt at all? (btw, this is Taryn here, your hubby's first cousin-once removed...hee hee).

Lots of nice family pictures along with an enchanting set of new projects. And you haven't even been back from the trip that long.

Thanks all for the lovely comments! Taryn I do quilt, not a lot but would like to, right now I have 3 quilts in progress and almost started another and decided to go back and finish the one I started a year ago.

I have been busy, and am very tired, now I want to get my garden going but it is kind of cool and dreary out.
